Final Decision

For my final project I will be creating my own deck of Tarot cards with picture from my own life. These cards consist of the major arcana and the minor arcana. There are 78 cards total.

The way I will make the cards is by buying a deck of tarot cards and lamenting my pics over the card with the description.

1.) Astrology Book- each page represents one of the astrological signs.

For my oral presentation I chose Karl Lagerfeld who is not only a renowned photographer, but the creative director for two major fashion houses (Chanel and Fendi) as well as a fashion visionary and legend. I first came across his work just in fashion magazines like Vogue where his work is obviously very prominent. I think that fashion and photography go hand in hand and without creative eyes like Lagerfeld's the connection would not be as strong.

Inspiration Image

I think that fashion and photography really complement each other and help each other as art form, and I think this image is really only one of many that showcases it. The ability to make the clothes, the model, and the background seem like something extraordinary is something a camera angle, or specific lighting, or the even the right photographer can do.

Bracketing is changing the settings on the camera to set the best ones for a quality exposure. For this I used an iPhone 8+ using the Maunal app. I just kept the ISO at 400 and aligned the EV and Shutter speeds to go along with the bracketing. +1 being double from 1/60 which is 1/120, -1 being half of 1/60 which is 1/30.
